Classroom Flip!!!

For the past several years we have been dreaming of "flipping" classrooms! We love to change our own rooms. Lyndsey is cutesy and "Froo Froo" and searches for cool stuff to make for her room. I just go buy stuff and add to my teacher debt that my kids will be grumpy about paying off one day!!

This is the year we found a willing participant!  Our dear friend Margaret has been teaching for 37 years and has not thrown one thing away. Every cabinet we opened was stuffed full of stuff! Here are some pictures of the before so you can see the adventure we were embarking on. We had a $100.00 budget.
The CHALLENGE was on...

FIRST...
We needed to find a theme and after deep soul (internet) searching we decided on a circus theme so we could incorporate the primary colors already being used in the classroom. Remember, we had a $100.00 budget so we had to be frugal which really did not work for one of us!

After thorough cleaning (throwing stuff away) we had a bright, organized, comfy, and engaging classroom any kindergartner would love.

Here are some of the after pictures...

We're here!

We have finally entered the world of blogging! We really do not know what we are doing but we sure do have a lot to get off of our chests...

Lyndsey is the cute one on the left and Susan is the amazon on the right. (she makes me look HUGE!) We ARE twins we are just born 15 years apart. :)
